Purpose of the role :

Deliver strong commercial controls & adherence of commercial SOP by institutionalizing strong governance mechanism to drive business. Optimizing cashflows, managing budgets and driving strong culture of Commercial Hygiene with internal and external teams through effective governance and audits.

Commercial Strategy & Development:

- Develop the overall Commercial & Governance strategy inline to business objectives to drive Growth and Hygiene

- Execute the budgeting exercise for Branches to monitor finances and deploy action plans for adherence

- Deliver profitable P&L for the Branches by driving effective management of commercials with Branch Commercial resources and resolve for any challenges

- Manage cashflows within organization by driving effective management of credit limits, expenses, claims etc.

- Identify and implement tech tools for effective commercial governance and issue resolution for both sales teams & channel partners"

Commercial Discipline & Governance :

Formulate the SOPs for POs, onboarding and offboarding of channel partners, serviceability process etc. for smooth operations

- Ensure Financial integrity with strict compliance to Organization SOPs/policies & local statutory regulatory policies and take necessary steps in case of any deviation

- Owning of periodic audits pertaining to commercial hygiene across all branches to implement, reinforce & strengthen the same

- Build a culture of commercial hygiene & governance across branches & channel partners.

- Provide approvals in terms of critical cases like credit limits, distributor claims etc. ensuring adherence to policy and organization's compliance guidelines"

Tracking and Monitoring & Risk Management :

Track the claims status of channel partners on monthly and quarterly basis and ensure timely settlement of claims as per the policy & establishing the process of taking Quarterly NOCs

- Identify the opportunity for cost efficiencies and drive implementation of the same by benchmarking best in class market practices

- Set the cadence for periodic tracking and monitoring of commercial budget status and plan action items for preemptive measures

- Identify and mitigate commercial risks, such as pricing pressure, supply chain disruptions, and market volatility to ensure smooth sales operations"

Stakeholder Management & collaboration:

Collaborating with Sales Teams e.g. Branch Managers, Sales function Heads & Channel heads to drive Commercial Processes

- Foster relationships with critical stakeholders like channel partners, auditors and other service providers to align for delivering business objectives

- Promote internal collaboration amongst sales, finance & logistics teams to meet budgets as per AOP without compromising on business.

- Leverage market relationships to deliver profitable business through negotiated deals with the channel partners "

KEY PERFORMANCE GOALS:

1 Adherence to SOPs with minimum exceptions and optimum commercial hygiene standards

2 Achievement of Sales Targets

3 Profitable P&L and commercial budget adherence with targeted cashflows

4 Utilization & success of tech intervention for effective commercial management

5 Successful settlement of claims/POs etc. with statutory compliance & timely NOC submissions
