Senior Test Engineer

Job Summary We are looking for a highly experiencedSenior Software Test Engineerto ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions. In this role, you will design and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects. Your expertise in testing practices and tools will contribute to delivering high-quality software while continuously improving testing processes.Key Responsibilities: Contribute to the development of test strategies, plans, and test cases for software projects. Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze test results, and log/report defects effectively. Stay updated on and contribute to the adoption of industry best practices in software testing. Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality is integrated into the software development lifecycle. Identify opportunities for automation and develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium or Appium. Participate in defect triage and collaborate with teams to resolve issues. Assist in post-release testing to ensure product quality. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies. Stay current with trends, tools, and emerging practices in software testing.Required Skills & Qualifications 5+ yearsof experience as a Test Engineer, with at least 2 years in a senior role. Strong experience intest strategy development ,test planning , andtest case design . Extensive hands-on experience withmanual testing ,automated testing(using tools such asSelenium, Appium, JUnit, or others ). Proficiency with issue tracking tools (e.g.,JIRA ). Strongdebuggingandanalytical skills , with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues. Solid understanding of database conceptsand experience working with databases (e.g.,SQL ). Expertise inAgile/Scrum methodologiesand experience with test management tools.
