This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a world-class development and support center. The India operations will serve as an extension of Syntasa’s US-based software development and support functions. Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and optimizedata processing and platform servicesusingJavaandBig Data frameworks(e.g., Spark, Hadoop). Build and maintainscalable microservicesand backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems. Deploy, manage, and scale workloads usingKubernetesand containerized environments. Work closely withplatform, and DevOpsteams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance. Implementcloud-nativeandCI/CDbest practices to streamline delivery and operations. Skills & ExperienceMust-Have: Strong expertise inJava and SpringBootfor backend and data-intensive applications. Hands-on experience withBig Data technologies(Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.). Practical knowledge ofKubernetesfor container orchestration and scaling. Nice to Have: Familiarity withKafkaor otherreal-time streamingsystems. Knowledge ofRDBMS (PostgreSQL)andNoSQLdatabases. RequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) inComputer Science, Engineering , or a related field. 4+ yearsof progressive experience as aSoftware Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer . Strongproblem-solving ,collaboration , andcommunicationskills. Ability to thrive in afast-paced, distributed engineering environment .
