Full Stack Developer - AI Learning Technologies

The Role

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong experience in MEAN and MERN stacks to join our development team. In this role, you'll work on a variety of projects related to our Zavmo.ai platform, helping to build and enhance the systems that deliver personalized learning experiences across global enterprises. You'll collaborate with our international teams, particularly in the UK and US, to create robust, scalable, and innovative learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using MEAN (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js) and MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) stacks

- Work closely with AI engineers to integrate advanced NLP and machine learning capabilities into our learning platform

- Implement responsive and intuitive user interfaces following our established design system and branding guidelines

- Develop RESTful APIs and microservices that power our data lake architecture and xAPI implementation

- Ensure high-quality code through comprehensive testing, code reviews, and adherence to our coding standards

- Collaborate effectively with international teams across different time zones

- Contribute to technical documentation and development processes

- Participate in Agile development cycles and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

- 5+ years of professional experience in full stack development with proficiency in MEAN and MERN stacks

- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and related frameworks (Angular, React)

- Experience with Node.js backend development and RESTful API design

- Solid understanding of MongoDB and database design principles

- Demonstrated experience with responsive web design and modern CSS frameworks

- Proven track record working on learning technologies (LMS, LXP, or similar platforms)

- Experience developing enterprise-grade applications with focus on scalability and security

- History of working successfully with international development teams

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with AI/ML integration in web applications

- Familiarity with xAPI, SCORM, or other learning technology standards

- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and libraries

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks

- Previous work with conversational interfaces or chatbot technologies

- Knowledge of accessibility standards and implementation
