We are looking for an experienced Banking SME to join our team and provide expert guidance on banking processes, regulations, and technology solutions. Mandatory Skills :

- 10+ years of experience in the banking industry, with a strong background in banking operations, digital banking, and financial products.

- In-depth knowledge of core banking systems, payments processing, and banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC, GDPR).

- Expertise in financial technology (FinTech) and emerging banking technologies (e.g., blockchain, AI, mobile banking).

- Strong consulting and client-facing skills with experience in gathering requirements, defining solutions, and delivering results.

- Solid understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks in the banking sector.

- Ability to drive banking transformation and digital innovation within financial institutions.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Role Purpose :

As a Banking SME, you will be responsible for providing deep expertise in banking operations, financial products, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with internal teams and clients to define banking solutions, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure that best practices are followed in areas like digital banking, payments, core banking systems, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

- Provide strategic insights and direction on banking operations, product development, and technology innovations.

- Drive banking transformation initiatives, focusing on digital banking, fintech, and emerging technologies in the banking sector.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement banking solutions that align with business goals.

Domain Expertise :

- Serve as the go-to expert on banking processes, including retail banking, corporate banking, payments, loans, credit risk management, and wealth management.

- Provide deep knowledge of banking regulations, including AML, KYC, GDPR, and local regulatory requirements.

- Advise on core banking systems and technology platforms, ensuring seamless integration with business processes.

Client Engagement & Consulting :

- Work directly with clients, providing expert consulting on banking technology solutions, digital transformation strategies, and industry best practices.

- Lead the requirement gathering process for banking solutions and help translate business needs into functional, scalable technology solutions.

Risk & Compliance Management :

- Provide insights and leadership on managing risk and ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

- Develop and ensure adherence to risk management frameworks and internal controls.

Product & Innovation :

- Drive innovation in banking products and services, focusing on areas like payments, mobile banking, AI-driven solutions, and open banking.

- Stay updated on industry trends, providing recommendations for new product offerings and enhancements to existing products.

Mentoring & Team Development :

- Mentor junior banking consultants and guide them on best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging banking technologies.

- Develop training programs and workshops to enhance the knowledge and skills of internal teams on banking systems and operations.
