Wordpress Consultant

About the Role :

We are seeking a seasoned WordPress Consultant with over 5 years of hands-on experience to provide expert guidance and deliver high-quality WordPress solutions for our diverse client base.

As a WordPress Consultant, you will collaborate remotely with clients and internal teams to design, develop, customize, and optimize WordPress websites and applications, ensuring they are scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

- Consult with clients to understand their website goals, technical requirements, and business needs.

- Design, develop, and customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client requirements.

- Perform thorough audits of existing WordPress sites to identify and fix issues related to performance, security, SEO, and UX/UI.

- Implement responsive and user-friendly website designs that work seamlessly across devices and browsers.

- Optimize WordPress sites for speed, scalability, and search engine performance.

- Provide strategic advice on best practices for WordPress development, hosting, security, and maintenance.

- Integrate third-party tools and APIs (payment gateways, CRM, marketing automation, analytics, etc.

) with WordPress platforms.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to WordPress environments.

- Collaborate with designers, developers, marketers, and content teams to deliver end-to-end digital solutions.

- Train and mentor junior developers or client teams on WordPress usage and management.

- Stay current with the latest WordPress trends, plugins, security standards, and industry best practices.

- Ensure all projects meet deadlines and adhere to quality standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in WordPress development and consulting.

- Expert-level knowledge of WordPress core, themes, and plugin development.

- Proficient in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and MySQL.

- Strong experience with popular page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg block editor.

- Deep understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, filters, and REST API.

- Experience in customizing WooCommerce and other popular WordPress plugins.

- Proven skills in website optimization for speed (caching, CDN, image optimization) and SEO best practices.

- Familiarity with web hosting environments (cPanel, Plesk, managed WordPress hosting) and server-side troubleshooting.

- Knowledge of security best practices for WordPress and experience implementing security hardening.

- Experience with version control systems (Git) and deployment workflows.

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work remotely with diverse teams and clients.

- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver results within timelines
