If you love building scalable solutions, mentoring teams, and taking ownership of projects from concept to delivery — you’ll feel right at home here.Responsibilities- Lead the design and development of scalable, high-performance web applications using Node.js, React.js, and TypeScript.: This involves overseeing the architecture and implementation of web applications, ensuring they meet performance and scalability standards. - Architect and implement RESTful APIs and microservices using ExpressJS / NEST JS.: This includes designing the structure of APIs and microservices to facilitate communication between different parts of the application. - Mentor and guide a team of developers through technical design and code reviews.: This responsibility focuses on providing support and guidance to junior developers, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams — Product Managers, Designers, and QA — for seamless feature delivery.: This involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure that features are delivered on time and meet the required specifications. - Drive performance optimization, code quality, and maintainability.: This includes implementing best practices for code quality and performance to ensure the long-term sustainability of the applications. - Utilize AWS services (SES, SNS, EC2) and contribute to deployment and monitoring strategies.: This involves leveraging AWS services for application deployment and monitoring, ensuring high availability and performance. - Implement automated testing (unit, integration) using Jest and follow TDD/BDD methodologies.: This includes creating automated tests to ensure code reliability and following development methodologies that promote quality. - Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning and retrospectives.: This involves engaging in Agile ceremonies to improve team processes and project outcomes.Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline: Required - Skills - Experience with Node.js for building scalable web applications. - Experience with React.js for building user interfaces. - Strong proficiency with TypeScript for developing applications. - Experience with ExpressJS for building RESTful APIs. - Experience with MoleculerJS for microservices architecture. - Working knowledge of PostgreSQL databases. - Working knowledge of MongoDB databases. - Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services. - Sound understanding of Agile methodologies. - Sound understanding of Git for version control. - Sound understanding of Jira for project management. - Sound understanding of Confluence for documentation. - Strong leadership skills to mentor junior developers. - Excellent communication skills for collaboration.PriceSenz is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
