Job Description :

We are looking for a seasoned Solution Architect with extensive experience in Kafka Messaging & Streaming, Messaging Middleware's for Pub/Sub or Event driven messaging, particularly with hands-on capabilities on either Apache Kafka or Confluent platform and exposure to Cloud Native Pub/Sub Messaging Middleware.

The Solution Architect will play a key role in driving business growth by providing technical expertise and solutioning during the pre-sales stage.

The candidate should have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, high-performance distributed systems using Kafka.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design end-to-end solutions leveraging Kafka Messaging & Streaming, Messaging Middleware's for Pub/Sub or Event driven messaging, including Cloud Native messaging solutions.

- Architect, design, and implement Kafka-based messaging systems to support real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.

- Design and implement Kafka clusters, topics, partitions, and producers/consumers for optimal performance and scalability.

- Integrate Kafka with other systems and technologies, such as databases, data lakes, and stream processing frameworks.

- Design and implement Messaging Middleware's for Pub/Sub or Event driven messaging.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on best practices and design patterns.

- Define and implement Kafka security and access control mechanisms to ensure data confidentiality and integrity.

- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Kafka clusters to meet stringent performance and throughput requirements.

- Stay updated with the latest developments in Kafka and streaming technologies and evaluate their potential to enhance existing systems.

- Collaborate with infrastructure and operations teams to deploy and manage Kafka clusters in production & Skillsets :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering or master's degree in computer application.

- Total IT Experience of 16-18 years.

- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with 12-14 years of experience in software development and architecture, with a focus on distributed systems and messaging technologies.

- Extensive hands-on experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent platform, including Kafka Streams, Connect, and Schema Registry.

- Strong understanding of messaging patterns, event-driven architectures, and stream processing concepts.

- Strong understanding of Cloud Native Messaging Middleware's for Pub/Sub or Event driven messaging.

- Proficiency in Java programming language and experience with Kafka client libraries.

- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink is a plus.

- Solid understanding of cloud platforms

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Relevant certifications (e. Experience of working in US in the past, and handling presales for US business during last 3 years is desirable.

- Should be an expert in consultative selling.

- Experience of owning & driving the engagements, end to end during the sales cycle, till closure
