Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Segment CDP Developer to join our team at the Charles Keith Group.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing our data pipelines and integrations within the Twilio Segment platform.

This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and excellent collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Segment Implementation and Management: Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Segment CDP, including setting up data sources, destinations, and custom event tracking.
  • Data Integration: Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration between Segment and various platforms such as CRM systems, marketing automation tools, analytics platforms, and data warehouses.
  • API and Webhooks Management: Configure and manage API integrations and webhooks within Segment to ensure real-time data flow between systems.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and work to resolve any issues related to data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, sales, analytics, and IT teams to understand their data needs and ensure that Segment is configured to meet those requirements.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation of Segment configurations, data flows, and integrations to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that all data handling within Segment adheres to company policies and complies with relevant data privacy regulations.
  • Training and Support: Provide technical support and training to internal teams on using Segment, enabling them to leverage the platform effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Segment or a similar CDP.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, marketing technology, or a similar role.
  • Retail or finance industry experience is highly desirable.
