About the Job:

Birlasoft is seeking a junior PeopleSoft technical role typically involves supporting, maintaining, and developing applications within the PeopleSoft environment.

Title: Junior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant

Location: Delhi NCR, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai

Educational Background:

  • Postgraduate or any other professional qualification

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, customization, and maintenance of PeopleSoft applications.
  • Work closely with senior technical consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
  • Perform troubleshooting and issue resolution for PeopleSoft applications and interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PeopleSoft applications with other systems and applications.
  • Support end-users by providing technical assistance, troubleshooting issues, and delivering training as needed.
  • Stay updated with PeopleSoft technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in documenting technical specifications, processes, and procedures.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, tools, and technologies.
  • Experience 1-2 years
  • PeopleSoft Technical with Work force administration module understanding.
  • Hands-on experience in Pepletools 8.5 & above, Application engine, Peoplecode, Page creation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with PeopleSoft upgrade projects.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaS``cript, and XML.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
