Position Purpose
The Lead Compliance & Licensing is responsible for ensuring compliances for Environment, Health & Safety throughout the organization. The role is also responsible to assist and advice the management in the fulfilment of its obligations, statutory or otherwise concerning prevention of pollution and safe working environment.
Strategic Responsibilities
Ensure various statutory compliances of EHS throughout the organization Keep track of new statutory requirements in the field of EHS and formulate strategies for effective compliance across sites Timely renewal of licenses and maintaining ROROperational Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all relevant EHS legislations throughout the organization Obtain CCA, NOC, EC etc. and their timely renewals To regularize discrepancies (if any) in the existing permissions and achieve TRUE legal compliant status Participate in the state /central govt. committees and represent company /sector for relevant issues. Maintain cordial relations with NGO’s Control on capital budget Provide vision and leadership in long – range fiscal planning to ensure continuityFinancial Responsibilities

M. E./B. E. Environment/ Chemical with Diploma in Industrial Safety from Govt. Recognized Institute
Work Experience
12-15 years of experience in EHS department
Industry to be Hired from
Process based industry i.e. Pharmaceuticals/ Agrochemical / Fine Chemical/ Metals
Functional Competencies
Provide technical expertise, strategic leadership, and support for all of PI's various facilities, departments, (including all outsourcing agencies) on regulatory compliance issues in Safety and Environmental Health Understanding of the chemicals and any/all potential safety and environmental hazards used Ability to take steps reducing use of problematic chemicals to mitigate any potential safety and environmental health hazards Represent the company on various non-profit boards, government committees, and trade organizations as appropriate to support PI Environmental and Safety strategiesInteraction Complexity and Team Work
