Known for our in-house tooling capability, advanced metal forming processes, and stringent quality systems, we specialize in complex components such as ECM module housings, sunroof parts, and safety-critical assemblies.As we continue to expand our manufacturing excellence, we are looking to hire aCMM Engineerwho can lead the precision measurement and dimensional inspection processes for high-accuracy and critical parts.Position Overview:TheCMM Engineerwill be responsible for executing detailed dimensional inspection of complex sheet metal and machined components usingCMM and other high-precision measurement systems . The ideal candidate should have deep understanding ofGD&T, engineering drawings (2D & 3D) , and should be capable of independently analyzing and validating the mostcritical profiles, tolerances, and featuresof safety-critical and customer-facing components.Key Responsibilities:Program and operateCMM machines(preferably Zeiss, Mitutoyo, or Hexagon) to inspect sheet metal and fabricated parts. Interpret3D CAD models and 2D technical drawingsto develop measurement strategies. Ensure accurate measurement oftight tolerance featuresandcritical-to-function profilesincluding surface flatness, hole true position, angularity, and run-out. Conductfirst article inspection (FAI) ,layout inspection , andin-process inspectionfor development and production parts. Validate parts forcustomer PPAPs ,ECM module casings , andsafety-critical assembliesusing GD&T analysis. GenerateCMM inspection reportsand communicate deviations or NCs to Quality/Production/NPD teams. Maintain the calibration status of CMM and other precision instruments. Collaborate with Quality Engineers, Tool Room, and NPD team for root cause analysis and corrective actions. Supportmeasurement system analysis (MSA) ,SPC studies , andgauge R&R validationwhen required.Desired Candidate Profile:4–7 years of hands-on experience inCMM programming and operationin an automotive or precision engineering environment. Strong understanding ofGD&T , complex tolerances, andcritical dimension analysis . Proficient in software such asPC-DMIS, CALYPSO, QUINDOS , or equivalent. Skilled in reading and interpreting3D models and 2D engineering drawings . Experience in inspectingsheet metal, deep drawn, and fabricated partswith complex geometries. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with design, tool room, and quality teams. Proactive and analytical mindset with attention to minute details.
