Airlearn is seeking aBook Designer (Contract)to collaborate with our content and curriculum teams in designing visually appealing and pedagogically effectivedigital and print-ready book layouts . The ideal candidate will have experience ineducational publishing , a strong sense oftypography, layout balance, and visual hierarchy , and the ability to translate complex content into clear, learner-friendly visual formats.Key Responsibilities Designtextbooks, learner guides, and workbooksaligned with Airlearn’s visual and pedagogical standards. Developclean, engaging layoutsfor language and academic content, ensuring readability and visual flow. Collaborate closely withcontent writers, illustrators, and editorsto create cohesive visual experiences. Prepareprint-ready and digital files(PDF, EPUB, etc.) following design and production specifications. Maintainconsistency in design language, fonts, and color paletteacross book projects. Implement feedback efficiently to meet project deadlines.Requirements Proven experience as aBook Designer, Layout Artist, or Graphic Designerin publishing or educational content. Proficiency inAdobe InDesign ,Illustrator , andPhotoshop(knowledge of Figma is a plus). Strong understanding oftypesetting, margins, spacing, and typography . Experience working withbilingual or multilingual layoutsis highly preferred. Attention to detail, creativity, and ability to manage multiple projects independently. Availability to collaborate remotely with Airlearn’s design and content teams.Nice to Have Experience inK–12, NEET, or language learningcontent design. Familiarity withdigital learning platformsorinteractive e-books . Understanding ofUX principlesfor readability and learner engagement.
