Job Title: Data Warehouse Engineer - Snowflake / DBT


Job Description:

We are looking for a Data Warehouse Engineer - Snowflake / DBT to design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Snowflake. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data architecture, ensuring high-performance data management and analytics.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows in Snowflake .
  • Experience working with Enterprise Apps data like Oracle EBS or SAP or Salesforce is a Must
  • Implement data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema) and data warehouse solutions .
  • Optimize Snowflake performance using clustering, caching, and partitioning .
  • Manage data ingestion, transformation, and processing using SQL, or Python.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrate with Snowflake.
  • Ensure data security, governance, and compliance best practices.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Business Teams for data-driven insights.
  • Automate data workflows using Airflow, DBT, or similar orchestration tools .
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines , ensuring reliability and scalability.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience in Data Engineering with expertise in Snowflake & DBT .
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation.
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools like DBT, Talend, Informatica, or Matillion .
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and services like S3, Lambda, AWS Glue
  • Experience with streaming data (Kafka, Spark Streaming, or Kinesis) is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing, performance tuning, and security best practices .
  • Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) .
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • SnowPro Certification is a must
