Visit www.rentkar.appRole OverviewWe’re looking for a Full Stack Engineer who can take ownership of Rentkar’s web platform — from building pixel-perfect UI to optimizing backend logic and performance. You’ll work directly with the founding team to develop new features, improve site performance, and help scale the product nationwide.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain Rentkar’s platform using Next.js and the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).Work on scalable backend APIs, data modeling, and real-time updates.Implement caching and optimization layers using Redis for performance.Manage state efficiently using Redux / Zustand and ensure fast, smooth user interactions.Collaborate on UI/UX improvements with TailwindCSS and component libraries.Integrate AWS services for hosting, storage (S3), CDN, and security.Write clean, modular, and testable code following modern JavaScript practices.Work with third-party APIs (Razorpay, Cloudinary, Maps, etc.) and handle webhooks.Debug, monitor, and optimize performance for both frontend and backend systems.Collaborate with designers, PMs, and ops teams to ship new features quickly.Required SkillsProficiency in Next.js, React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB.Strong understanding of Redis, AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront), and API design.Good grasp of state management (Redux/Zustand).Familiar with TailwindCSS and responsive frontend design principles.Solid experience with Git, version control, and agile workflows.Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, performance optimization, and server-side rendering (SSR).Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and performance.Good to HaveExperience with TypeScript, Next.js 14 App Router, or server actions.Understanding of CDN caching, on-demand ISR, SSR optimization.Basic knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, or Nginx setups.Contributions to open-source projects or a personal portfolio.Familiarity with analytics tools (GTM, GA4, Mixpanel).What You’ll GetWork directly with the founders and shape a product used by thousands across India.Real product ownership — from backend architecture to front-end polish.Startup environment with creative freedom and visible impact.Competitive CTC: ₹4 – 6 LPA + performance incentives.Opportunity for rapid growth into Tech Lead / Senior Engineer role as the platform scale
