About the Role:

We are looking for a highly experienced Golang Developer with deep, hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes internals to join our development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ongoing customizations and enhancements to a custom dashboard built on OKD, and for designing and implementing Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) that integrate tightly with the Kubernetes control plane and are surfaced via the dashboard.

This role demands a proactive engineer who not only delivers robust code but also brings forward well-founded implementation proposals that align with platform evolution and product goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Develop and maintain backend services in Golang, using best practices for modular, maintainable, and scalable code.

2) Customize and extend a dashboard based on OKD, integrating it with custom Kubernetes resources.

3) Design, implement, and manage CRDs and associated controllers/operators.

4) Ensure integration and visibility of custom resources within the UI.

5) Proactively identify areas of improvement and propose solid technical solutions aligned with system

architecture.

6) Core Kubernetes Expertise Required:

7) In-depth understanding of Kubernetes control plane components (API server, controller manager,

scheduler).

8) Solid experience with Kubernetes architecture, including etcd, kubelet, kube-proxy, and networking

model (Services, Ingress, NetworkPolicies).

9) Strong grasp of Namespaces, RBAC, ServiceAccounts, and Pod Security contexts.

10) Experience with Custom Controllers and use of client-go / controller-runtime libraries.

11) Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Kubernetes workloads: Deployments, StatefulSets,

DaemonSets, Jobs, and CronJobs.

12) Understanding of Kubernetes events, resource reconciliation, and operator patterns.

13) Hands-on experience working in OKD or OpenShift environments is a strong plus.

Required Qualifications:

1) 3+ years of professional experience with Golang in cloud-native environments.

2) Demonstrable expertise with Kubernetes internals and resource lifecycle management.

3) Familiarity with declarative infrastructure management and Helm-based templating.

4) Experience with RESTful API development and backend integration with UI frameworks.

Ability to analyze, justify, and communicate design choices clearly.
