ROLE: The role will be critical in setting up and scaling up production capabilities-prototyping, pilot to full-scale manufacturing, in a limited resource startup environment.- End-to-end manufacturing function( production planning, procurement, process optimization, quality control, and supply chain coordination.)- Strategic oversight & hands-on implementationKey Responsibilities:1. Manufacturing Strategy, Planning and Execution- Develop and implement scalable manufacturing strategies .- Define production roadmaps from prototype to commercial-scale manufacturing.2. Process Design & Optimization- Design and standardize assembly processes, workflows, and documentation (SOPs).- Establish lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement culture (Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).3. Quality & Compliance- Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS).- Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO, CE, ASME, etc.).- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and failures.4. Team Leadership & Development- Build and lead a high-performing manufacturing team (technicians, engineers, supervisors).5. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate with Design, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturability and cost optimization.- Support product design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related 7+ years of experience in manufacturing or production roles, at least 2+ years in a leadership capacity.- Prior experience in startup or small-scale manufacturing environments preferred.- Proven experience in machine fabrication, assembly, or process equipment manufacturing.- lean manufacturing, process design, and quality systems.- Strong execution and manufacturing operations management capability Technical Skills:- Strong knowledge of fabrication, machining, assembly, and testing processes.- CAD/CAM, ERP systems, and production planning tools.- Industrial automation and instrumentation is a plus.- Experience in implementing and maintaining QMS standards.
