We are hiring for a Full-Stack engineer to be part of Ivory (www.liveivory.com). We provide neuroscience-based assessments and personalized brain health solutions for those above 45+.


This role might be for you if you are someone who likes challenges and wants to be a part of an extremely high impact and high growth 0-1 journey. We're looking for IMMEDIATE JOINERS only.


About the Startup:

Pre-seed funded by Capital-A and a several high-pedigree Angels. In the past six months, we have built our beta that's live on both AppStore and PlayStore with strong evidence of customer love.



Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop robust and scalable APIs for frontend consumption and inter-service communication.
  • Optimise servers for speed and stability, implement security structures, generating reusable code libraries and generating data storage solutions
  • Directly work with co-founders in building an early deep-tech framework for condition detection with live customer data
  • You will also be involved with the product team directly in scoping requirements, estimating delivery dates for a particular feature and documenting the technical details for developing it.
  • Integrate front-end elements built by your colleagues into the application
  • Building things proactively, with minimal guidance.
  • Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, engineers and stakeholders 


Ideal candidate Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in back-end development (Designing, developing, testing and deploying large scale applications with one of the JVM languages or other server side technologies)
  • Deep knowledge of SQL/NOSQL databases and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google cloud or Azure. Familiarity with services like EC2, RDS,S3, Lambda, Cloud functions is a plus.
  • Skilled in API development with a track record of developing robust and efficient RESTful or GraphQL APIs. Experience in integrating third-party APIs, especially AI services like OpenAI, is highly desired.
  • Experience working with Mobile Apps esp. Consumer facing apps are mandatory. If you are skilled in front-end application development (Full Stack) that would be a bonus
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools. 
  • Proficiency in using version control systems, especially platforms like GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar repositories, is essential

  • Experience in an early stage startup is preferred
