Digital Asset Management Engineer

Job Summary : We are looking for a DAM Engineer responsible for developing, supporting, and optimizing Digital Asset Management workflows and integrations.The role involves backend development, automation, and cloud-based operations to ensure efficient asset ingestion, transformation, distribution, and governance across enterprise marketing ecosystems.Primary Skills : - Hands-on experience with Digital Asset Management systems (e.g., AEM Assets or equivalent)- Strong understanding of : o Asset ingestion, metadata modeling & versioning o Asset workflows, transformation & delivery pipelines- Backend development using Python, C#, .NET, PHP (Laravel), Node.js, or R- Experience with REST API development and integrations- Cloud experience, preferably AWS S3 for asset storage and automation- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous delivery- Proficiency with Git / Bitbucket for version control and deployments- Shell scripting and automation in Linux/Unix or macOS- Agile/Scrum delivery experience- Basic database query skillsSecondary Skills (Nice to Have) : - Experience in creative marketing DevOps or digital content production environments- Familiarity with metadata governance, tagging automation, and asset rights management- Frontend development basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, AngularJS 1.x)- Experience managing or supporting marketing campaigns and offers- Ability to propose technology improvements aligned with business goals (ref:hirist.tech)
