Role Summary

We are seeking a proactive and skilled IT Software & Hardware Maintenance Executive to manage and support the organization's IT infrastructure. The role involves maintaining hardware systems, troubleshooting software issues, ensuring data security, and providing end-user support to enable smooth day-to-day operations across the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Hardware Maintenance & Support

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, servers, and IT equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot hardware failures.
  • Manage and track IT hardware inventory/assets.

2. Software Maintenance & Support

  • Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and application software.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user-level software issues.
  • Coordinate with vendors for software updates, renewals, and license compliance.

3. Network & Security Management

  • Monitor LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi connectivity; troubleshoot connectivity issues.
  • Ensure data security, antivirus updates, and firewall monitoring.
  • Support backup management and disaster recovery processes.

4. User & System Support

  • Provide first-level IT support to employees across departments.
  • Set up new user accounts, email IDs, and access rights.
  • Document recurring issues and prepare MIS reports for IT management.

5. Vendor Coordination

  • Liaise with vendors for AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) support.
  • Coordinate procurement of IT hardware/software based on requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, hardware & software maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, MS Office, Outlook, and networking basics.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting & software installations.
  • Knowledge of IT security practices and backup solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Certifications (Optional)

  • CompTIA A+ / N+
  • Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) / MCSA
  • CCNA (for networking support)
