Position : SAP ABAP Consultant min 4 years Experience

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ABAP programming, with expertise in developing and supporting interfaces, Business Warehouse (BW) processes, and Operational Data Provisioning (ODP). This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain SAP solutions that meet

our business needs.

Key Responsibilities :

- ABAP Development : Design, develop, and implement ABAP programs, reports, forms, and enhancements according to business requirements.

- Interfaces Management : Create and maintain interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using technologies such as IDoc, RFC, BAPI, and Web Services.

- BW Development : Work on BW projects, including the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Develop ABAP routines for data modeling and reporting.

- ODP Implementation : Implement and manage Operational Data Provisioning for data extraction and replication, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

- Performance Optimization : Analyze existing ABAP code and BW processes for performance bottlenecks and implement improvements.

- Documentation : Prepare technical documentation for all developments and ensure compliance with company standards.

- Collaboration : Work closely with functional teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Support & Troubleshooting : Provide ongoing support for SAP applications, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions as necessary.

Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience :

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong experience with SAP interfaces, BW, and ODP.

Technical Skills :

- Proficient in ABAP programming, including Object-Oriented ABAP.

- Experience with data extraction techniques and data modeling in SAP BW.

- Familiarity with ODP concepts and implementations.

- Knowledge of integration technologies (IDoc, BAPI, RFC, Web Services).

Behavioral Competencies :

- Must have worked with US/Europe based clients in onsite/offshore delivery model

- Should have very good verbal and written communication, technical articulation, listening and presentation skills

- Should have proven analytical and problem-solving skills

- Should have demonstrated effective task prioritization, time management and internal/external stakeholder management skills

- Should be a quick learner, self-starter, go-getter and team player

- Should have experience of working under stringent deadlines in a Matrix organization structure

- Should have demonstrated appreciable Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) in past organization
