RechargeZap is a fintech platform offering innovative digital solutions. We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to join our team and contribute to building high-quality applications.


Key Responsibilities:


Development

  • Develop and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform.
  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code in Java and Kotlin.
  • Implement new features based on user feedback and product requirements.
  • Integrate payment gateways and other financial APIs to enhance user experience and functionality.


Collaboration

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure high-quality user experiences.
  • Partner with backend developers to integrate APIs and services.


Quality Assurance

  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality, performance, and stability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs, improving application performance continuously.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback for improvement.


Optimization

  • Optimize app performance, responsiveness, and memory usage.
  • Implement best practices to maximize development efficiency.
  • Stay updated on new tools, libraries, and technologies to improve development processes.


Deployment

  • Prepare applications for release, including final testing and packaging.
  • Manage Play Store deployment, including creating release notes, app signing, and updating versions.
  • Monitor and resolve issues reported on Play Store post-deployment.


Innovation

  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies for project improvement.
  • Propose innovative solutions to enhance user engagement and application usability.
  • Independently lead the development of at least 3 mobile applications from concept to launch.


Requirements:

Mandatory:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development.
  • Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
  • Strong understanding of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
  • Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Firebase, etc.)
  • Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.


Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and libraries.
  • Experience with continuous integration.
  • Prior experience in deploying apps on the Google Play Store.
