Our work is grounded in empathy, creativity, collaboration, and clean code, striving to build products that matter and foster an environment of accountability and collaboration.Job Description : We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer with extensive experience in Ruby on Rails to join our development team.The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of backend technologies and best practices, as well as a passion for creating robust and scalable web applications.Key Responsibilities : - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust backend systems using Ruby on Rails.- Develop web applications using React or JavaScript based framework as frontend and ROR as backed.- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.- Implement security and data protection measures.- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.- Troubleshoot and debug applications.- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our solutions are current and effective.Must-Have Skills : - 2+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on Ruby on Rails.- Strong proficiency in Ruby programming language.- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React/JavaScript) and how they integrate with Ruby on Rails.- Experience with RESTful API design and development.- Knowledge of code versioning tools, such as Git.- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Preferred Skills : - Experience with cloud services (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).- Knowledge of microservices architecture.- Experience with agile development methodologies.- Prior experience in mentoring or leading a development team.Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Skills : Ruby on Rails (ROR), React.js, Javascript, HTML/CSS, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cloud Computing, Kubernetes, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Docker and Microservices.
