Filenet Administrator

Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled FileNet Administrator with hands-on experience in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration to manage and support our enterprise document management and BPM systems. The ideal candidate should have deep knowledge of FileNet administration, WebSphere Application Server, and related technologies like IBM HTTP Server, DB2, and WebSphere MQ. Strong troubleshooting, backup/restoration, and performance tuning skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :

- FileNet Administration : Oversee the installation, configuration, and administration of IBM FileNet P8, including troubleshooting and support.

- IBM WebSphere Application Server Administration : Manage the installation, configuration, and performance tuning of WebSphere Application Server in a production environment.

- Configuration of SSL Communication : Set up and maintain secure communication between the Web Server Plug-in and WebSphere Application Server using SSL.

- Backup & Restoration : Implement and manage backup/restoration processes for FileNet and WebSphere environments to ensure data integrity and availability.

- Performance Tuning : Analyze system performance and apply performance tuning techniques to optimize system health.

- Patch Management : Apply updates, patches, and hotfixes to FileNet, WebSphere, and related systems to ensure systems are up to date.

- BPMS Troubleshooting : Provide support and troubleshooting for Business Process Management Systems (BPMS), including FileNet P8 and underlying technologies (WebSphere Application Server, Apache Tomcat).

- Database & Middleware Management : Work with related technologies such as IBM HTTP Server, DB2, and WebSphere MQ to ensure smooth integration with FileNet systems.

- Cloud Environment Support : Utilize Linux systems to support public cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) for FileNet and WebSphere services.

- IBM BPM/BAW Deployment : Perform the installation, configuration, and deployment of IBM BPM/BAW v8.x, 18.x, and 19.x, including supporting all environments.

- IBM Business Monitor Support : Install, configure, and administer IBM Business Monitor v8.x, including Process Centre, Process Server, and Deployment Manager.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience with FileNet Administration including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Proficiency in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration, installation, and configuration.

- Experience configuring SSL communication between Web Server Plug-ins and WebSphere Application Server.

- Knowledge of related technologies such as IBM HTTP Server, DB2, WebSphere MQ, and their integration with FileNet.

- Hands-on experience with backup/restoration, performance tuning, and the application of updates and patches in a production environment.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for BPMS systems, including IBM WebSphere and Apache Tomcat.

- Linux administration experience, including supporting cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).

- Ability to install, configure, and administer IBM Business Monitor v8.x and IBM BPM/BAW v8.x, 18.x, 19.x.
