Job Description

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather integration requirements and design solutions that align with organizational goals. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday integration issues promptly, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement solutions. Develop, configure, and maintain integrations between Workday and various third-party systems using Workday Studio, Workday Cloud Connect, and other integration tools. Troubleshoot and resolve Workday PECI integrations and support 44+ payroll integrations . Demonstrated integration experience in Human Resources related domains Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Talent. Create detailed technical specifications, data mappings, and transformation logic for integration projects. Perform unit testing and participate in integration testing to ensure the reliability and accuracy of integrations. Stay current with Workday's features, updates, and integration capabilities to leverage the latest functionalities for our projects. Ensure integrations adhere to security and compliance standards, implementing data encryption and access controls as necessary. Mentor and provide guidance to junior integration developers, sharing best practices, coding standards, and troubleshooting techniques. Collaborate with the HR, IT, and business teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and support the implementation of integrated solutions. Contribute to the documentation of integration designs, configurations, troubleshooting procedures, and project progress. Participate in the evaluation and selection of integration tools and technologies to enhance the integration ecosystem. Provide production support and respond to issues and incidents in a timely manner

Qualifications and Background

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree is a plus. 5+ years of proven experience as a Workday Integration Developer, with a focus on complex integration projects. 8+ year of overall experience. Proficiency in Workday integration tools, including Workday Studio and Workday Cloud Connect, PECI, PICOF. Strong understanding of Workday's architecture, data model, and integration capabilities. Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and middleware platforms for integrations. In-depth knowledge of data transformation, mapping, and data validation techniques. Working knowledge of XSLT, XSLT editors. Workday Certified in integration is a strong advantage. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently. Familiarity with security protocols, data protection, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
