Job Summary :


We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer 2 (SRE 2) with a strong background in AWS and Azure to help optimize our cloud-based infrastructure and services.


The SRE 2 will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of our cloud environments, working closely with both senior engineers and cross-functional teams.


This role is ideal for an engineer with several years of experience who is looking to further develop their expertise in cloud infrastructure and SRE Job Functions :

- Partner in the design of cloud-based infrastructure and services in AWS and Azure, adhering to SRE best practices.

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments.

- Collaborate with architecture and development teams to design cloud solutions that meet business requirements.

- Work closely with Infra and development teams to ensure seamless integration of new applications and services into the cloud infrastructure following SRE best practices.

- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

- Partner to implement and refine monitoring, logging and alerting systems to detect and respond to incidents.

- Help to develop and enforce best practices, including automation of repetitive tasks and incident response processes.

- Manage capacity planning, performance tuning and cost optimization strategies.

- Build processes and tools to enable application teams to be their own SREs.

- Identify and address availability and performance issues and partner with teams to find solutions by fixing code, building tools, or refining process.

- Help to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud operations.

- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and industry trends and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

- Advocate for SRE practices and drive adoption across the Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field of study.

- 2+ years of experience working in IT.

- 2+ years of SRE/DevOps experience.

- 2+ years of development :


- Root Cause Analysis (RCA).


- Collaborative Mindset.


- Operational Excellence.

- Team Mentoring.

- Solution Oriented Approach.

- Organized To : Manager and above.

Work Environment : Normal Office Environment, hybrid - 24/7 On-call coverage; may be required to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends and possibly : Ability to travel up to 20% Duties :
