Job Title: Odoo Developer (Project Delivery Expert)

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Odoo Developer with a strong background in Odoo ERP customisation, implementation, and project delivery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing, configuring, and deploying Odoo solutions that align with business requirements. You will play a key role in managing Odoo-based projects from requirement gathering to final delivery, ensuring seamless integration and functionality across various modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, customise, and maintain Odoo modules (Sales, CRM, Accounting, Inventory, HR, etc.)
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions using Odoo framework
  • Perform Odoo API integration with third-party applications
  • Optimize Odoo performance and troubleshoot issues
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle – from planning to deployment
  • Perform Odoo version upgrades and migrations
  • Develop and implement custom Odoo workflows, reports, and dashboards
  • Ensure project delivery within defined timelines and quality standards
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Document development processes, coding standards, and user guides
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Odoo development and implementation
  • Strong expertise in Python, JavaScript, XML, PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Odoo Framework (ORM, Workflows, Report Engine, QWeb)
  • Solid knowledge of Odoo backend and frontend development
  • Hands-on experience with Odoo API (XML-RPC, JSON-RPC, RESTful APIs)
  • Good understanding of Odoo hosting, deployment, and security best practices
  • Experience in Odoo module customisation and migration
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools
  • Ability to lead project deliveries and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Odoo certification is a plus
  • Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Prior experience in ERP/CRM software development and business processes
