We are looking for a talented Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team and help us create visually stunning, high-performing eCommerce websites for our clients.


Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with at least 2 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify websites. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for implementing pre-approved UI designs, building front-end and back-end solutions, integrating third-party APIs, and ensuring that the website architecture is optimized for performance, scalability, and speed.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Shopify Development: Design, develop, and customize Shopify websites, focusing on front-end (HTML, CSS, SCSS, jQuery) and back-end integrations.
  • API Integrations: Integrate third-party tools and services such as payment gateways, shipping carriers (FedEx, USPS, UPS), social media, Google Analytics, and more into Shopify stores.
  • Custom Themes: Create and modify custom Shopify themes, ensuring they are optimized for SEO, performance, and responsive design.
  • Cross-Platform Compatibility: Ensure websites work across different browsers, platforms, and devices through manual and automated testing.
  • Performance Optimization: Ensure that all websites load quickly and are built for speed and scalability.
  • Post-Launch Support: Provide post-launch bug fixes, updates, and ongoing support to ensure high-quality results.
  • Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, product managers, and marketing teams, to deliver high-quality eCommerce websites.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in Shopify development.
  • Proficiency in Liquid: Strong experience with Liquid and customization of Shopify themes.
  • Technical Skills: Solid knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • API Integration: Experience working with Shopify JS APIs, payment gateways, shipping methods, and other third-party app integrations.
  • Cross-Browser Testing: Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistency.
  • Back-End Knowledge: Knowledge of back-end programming languages like PHP, Python, or Ruby is a plus.
  • Version Control: Experience with Git or other version control systems.
  • Server Management: Familiarity with server deployment and management for Shopify environments.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Other Platforms: Experience with other eCommerce platforms, especially WooCommerce, is a plus.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Shopify Plus and enterprise-level eCommerce solutions.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and conversion optimization.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from start to finish.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
