Our drive to continuously innovate on behalf of our clients and be leading thinkers enables us to drive the disciplines forward.I.Job SummaryWe are expanding our network of experts and in-market specialists across South and Southeast Asia to support our growing portfolio of projects. The role will be based in your home market (preferably in South Asia) to manage the South Asian region.Consultants will contribute local insights, sectoral expertise and on-the-ground support through defined deliverables such as stakeholder mapping, engagement strategies, policy tracking, and preparation of reports or communications materials.Assignments are project-based, with specific scopes of work and deliverables defined for each project/client.II.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyse policy, regulatory and market developments across relevant sectors. Conduct stakeholder mapping and engagement with government, industry, academia, media and civil society actors. Develop, maintain and expand a robust network of contacts across sectors, particularly in government, business communities, the media and non-government groupings to enhance the firm’s key client relationships. Provide actionable intelligence and strategic insights to inform client strategies across multiple sectors. Support the firm’s advocacy or communication efforts through the development of briefing notes, reports, and presentations. Coordinate and facilitate in-market engagements, visits or consultations for clients or the firm. Actively contribute to the Partners’ development of a strategic business plan for your home market with a specific focus on growing our client footprint in the market, and the wider region (where relevant). This may also include articulating thought leadership on issues of interest in the media or at events/conferences.III.Organisational StructureConsultants will work remotely and coordinate closely with the firm’s clients, teams and Partners.IV.About YouA strong strategic thinker and effective communicator, comfortable navigating complex policy and stakeholder environments. A collaborative professional with the ability to work independently and meet project deadlines. An established network of contacts across government, business, media and NGO sectors in your market. In-depth understanding of the political, regulatory and business context in your country or area of expertise. Practical and adaptable, with a focus on delivering quality outcomes within defined timelines.V.Recommended BackgroundMinimum of 8 years' experience in public affairs and government relations, stakeholder engagement, communications, strategic advocacy or policy research. Experience working with international organisations, corporates, or consulting firms preferred. Sectoral expertise in areas such as health, nutrition, sustainability, FMCG, technology, trade or economics will be an advantage. Fluency in the local language and working-level English preferred.
