Job Description

Citrix Administrator: Metso Environment

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the advanced administration of Citrix Xen Desktop and VDI, Citrix XenApp, Citrix Provisioning Server, and App-V.
  • Innovative roadmaps, maintenance scheduling, life cycle management, capacity management for the Citrix environment and related dependent technologies.
  • Manage day-to-day administration, planning, and problem-solving for the Citrix environment.
  • Performance tuning and ensure high availability of the Citrix environment to eliminate single points of failure.
  • Escalation support, coordinate, evaluate, and test changes across Metso Global sites.
  • Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment. Collaborate with teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Implement project requirements, achieve project goals in collaboration with project managers.
  • Analyze customer requirements, develop effective working relationships.
  • Ensure adherence to standards, develop procedures for secure, efficient operations.
  • Interface with technical personnel to discuss issues or specifications.
  • Provide L2-L3 support/solutions.
Requirements

Technical Skills:

  • Citrix XenApp 7.6 migration and administration.
  • Citrix Netscaler configuration and administration.
  • Citrix XenApp (4.5, 5.0, 6.5).
  • Citrix XenDesktop 7.X.
  • VDI implementation and server support.
  • Enterprise-level Citrix Administration.
  • PVS and MCS experience.
  • Windows OS (2003/2008/2012); Windows 7 knowledge.
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops v.7.13 and above with Azure Cloud experience.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications preferred (CCEA, CCA, MCSE, MCSA, MCTS, VCP).
  • Citrix Certification.
  • VMWare Virtualization technology.
  • Enterprise Networking and Storage technologies.
  • Intermediate AD and Group Policy Objects knowledge.
  • PowerShell scripting knowledge.
  • Datacenter and networking topologies understanding.
  • Cloud technologies knowledge.
Work Experience

5-10 years of experience in Citrix administration.
