Debit Card Migration Expert

Our client, a global consulting firm is seeking a skilled Debit Card Migration Expert to lead the migration of the debit card systems from Base24 to Cortex. This is a techno-functional role that requires deep expertise in both the technical aspects of the migration and a solid understanding of governance and compliance within the financial services industry.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing similar migrations and will ensure a smooth transition while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

-Lead the Migration Process: Oversee the end-to-end migration of debit card systems from Base24 to Cortex, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

-Functional and Technical Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business requirements with technical solutions, ensuring the migration supports all necessary business functions.

-Governance and Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of the migration comply with relevant regulatory standards and other applicable financial regulations.

-Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with the migration and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.

-Stakeholder Management: Communicate progress, challenges, and milestones to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment across the Create and maintain detailed documentation of the migration process, including system configurations, test plans, and compliance reports.

Required Qualifications:

-Proven experience in migrating debit card systems from Base24 to Cortex.

-Strong background in both technical and functional aspects of financial systems.

-Experience in governance and compliance within the financial services industry.

-8-10 years of experience in the Banking/FS space.

Technical Skills:

-Proficiency in system integration.

-Understanding of financial transaction processing and cards.

-Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements.

Soft Skills:

-Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

-Strong problem-solving and risk management abilities.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

This is a contractual role and will be on an initial 6months contract (extendible). This role is based out of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
