Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems for solar rooftop and ground-mounted PV projects, including single-line diagrams, wiring layouts, and equipment specifications.
  • Prepare and review detailed electrical drawings, plans, and specifications for solar PV installations.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine optimal system configurations and layouts.
  • Perform electrical calculations and simulations to ensure system efficiency, safety, and compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including civil, structural, and mechanical engineers, to integrate electrical designs into overall project plans.
  • Provide technical support and guidance during project execution, including addressing design-related issues and conducting on-site inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and company policies in all design activities.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, design documentation, and project updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in solar technology and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in electrical design for solar PV systems, specifically in rooftop and ground-mounted projects.
  • Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, ETAP, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations related to solar PV installations.
  • Experience with electrical calculations, load analysis, and system sizing for solar projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
