Big Data + Data Bricks Developer

Location : Bangalore / Pune

Skills :


- Experience in Big Data/Hadoop Ecosystem. Hands on experience in Spark and Hive. Mandatory in Databricks

Data Pipeline Development : Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data processing pipelines using Scala and Databricks.

ETL Processes : Implement and manage robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data lakes and warehouses.

Databricks Implementation : Utilize Databricks to develop, optimize, and manage data workflows and ensure seamless data integration.

Data Integration : Integrate various data sources and ensure data quality, consistency, and availability for analytics and reporting purposes.

Performance Optimization : Optimize data processing workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability within the Databricks environment.

Collaboration : Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data pipelines, processes, and systems.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting : Monitor data pipeline performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure data integrity and system reliability.

Best Practices : Adhere to and promote best practices in data engineering, including coding standards, testing, and code reviews.

Requirements :

- Proficiency in Scala programming language.

- Extensive experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.

- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Kafka, and HBase.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Azure.

- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

Analytical Skills : Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.


Communication Skills : Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Attention to Detail : High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable data solutions.

Agile Methodologies : Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus
