Profile Description: We are seeking a creative and skilled Game Modeler/Designer to join our company and contribute to the development of AAA games and virtual experiences. As a Game Modeler/Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning 3D models, environments, assets & animations while incorporating interactive elements to enhance user engagement and immersion.


Required Skills:

  • Understanding of game design principles, user-centric design, and interactive storytelling.
  • Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as Blender, Maya, or equivalent.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing your 3D modeling and design skills, with an emphasis on game assets, environments & animations.
  • Familiarity with blockchain technology, NFTs, and the principles of Web3.
  • Experience with texture mapping, PBR materials, and shader creation.
  • Basic understanding of rigging and animation principles.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing the boundaries of interactive design.

Key Responsibilities:

3D Modeling and Texturing: Design and create high-quality 3D models, characters, objects, and environments for use in blockchain-based games and virtual experiences.

Blockchain Integration: Collaborate with the development team to integrate blockchain technology into game assets, enabling ownership, trading, and customization by users.

Interactive Design: Conceptualize and design interactive elements within game environments, ensuring engaging gameplay mechanics that align with the principles of Web3 technology.

UI/UX Integration: Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure seamless integration of 3D assets with user interfaces, creating a cohesive and immersive user experience.

Asset Optimization: Optimize 3D models and assets for performance while maintaining visual fidelity, considering factors such as polygon count, texture size, and LODs.

Artistic Direction: Collaborate with the art director and design team to follow established artistic guidelines and contribute to defining the visual style of the game or experience.

Rigging and Animation: Create rigs and animations for characters and objects, enhancing their visual appeal and bringing them to life.

Quality Control: Review and iterate on assets based on feedback from the team and playtesting to ensure they meet quality and design standards.

Research and Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in both game design and blockchain technology, bringing fresh ideas to the creative process.

Documentation: Maintain clear and organized documentation of design processes, asset specifications, and any unique implementation details related to blockchain integration.
