Job Description

Leadership Role in Lending Services Team

We are seeking dedicated and motivated individuals with strong leadership, organizational, and teamwork skills to join our Lending Services team based in Gurgaon.

Responsibilities:
  1. Portfolio Management : Handle a portfolio of under-construction and operational project finance counterparties.
  2. Project Analysis : Analyze projects related to power generation (Solar, Hydro, Wind, Thermal etc.) and other infrastructure projects.
  3. Deal Modeling : Work on project finance deal models, conduct sensitivity analysis, DCF analysis, repayment tests, calculate and analyze Discount factor, PLCR, and DSCR.
  4. Deal Documentation : Understand and analyze deal-related documents, including Credit agreement, Term sheet, Off-taker agreements, O&M agreements, EPC contracts, Independent Engineer's report, construction reports, operation reports, Budgets, etc.
  5. Financial Analysis : Analyze financial statements, performance, and trend analysis for assessing the credit worthiness of large corporates.
  6. Credit Reporting : Prepare credit reports (annual/quarterly reviews) by including profile of the counterparty, key rating considerations, credit risk assessment, (including financial & peer analysis, rating rationale, outlook, etc).
  7. Forecasting : Build forecast Excel models.
  8. Business Analysis : Analyze the business model, identify strengths, weaknesses, risks, understand revenue models, and corporate structure of counterparties.
  9. Compliance : Adhere to standard operating procedures and policies, including compliance documentation.
  10. Client Relationship : Maintain strong relationships with clients.
Required Background

Essential Qualifications

  • Experience : 6-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Credits Knowledge : Strong understanding of credit principles, policies, and regulations.
  • Educational Background : Qualified Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance or CFA or M. Com or equivalent degree.
  • Skillset : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to build effective relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Skills : Ability to multi-task independently under tight timelines and an eye for details.
