Job Title: Senior Java Developer (3–5 Years) — Onsite | Bengaluru SouthLocation:Bengaluru South, Karnataka, India Job Type:Full-time, Onsite (Monday to Friday) Experience Level:Mid-Senior (3–5 Years)Role Overview We are seeking a skilled and committed Senior Java Developer to join our backend engineering team in Bengaluru South. This is a full-time onsite role (5-day working) focused on building scalable APIs and enterprise-grade backend systems using Java and Spring Boot. You’ll work in an agile Scrum environment and leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and code quality.Key Responsibilities Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) Implement Spring Security, OAuth2, and JWT for secure API access Conduct unit and integration testing using JUnit, Mockito, and Spring Test Use AI-powered tools (GitHub Copilot, Tabnine, SonarQube) for code generation, review, and testing Participate in Scrum ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers Maintain clean documentation and contribute to code reviewsMust-Have Qualifications 3–5 years of professional experience in Java backend development Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, SonarQube) Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Stable work history: ≤2 company switches, with ≥3 years at one firm Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field Strong communication skills and understanding of the Indian IT ecosystemNice-to-Have Skills Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) Experience with Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) Familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI, Kafka, RabbitMQ Contributions to open-source Java projects or public portfolios Agile/Scrum certifications or advanced Java/Spring credentialsCompensation & Benefits Onsite working: Monday to Friday Opportunities for growth in AI, DevOps, and Cloud engineering Collaborative team culture with mentorship and long-term career pathsWork Location This is a fully onsite role based in Bengaluru South, close to major IT parks and tech campuses.
