Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

About the Company:

We are a growing steel & alloys startup focused on innovation, quality, and efficiency in metal manufacturing. We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production processes, improve efficiency, and ensure high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Optimization: Develop, improve, and implement manufacturing processes for steel & alloy production.
Production Efficiency: Identify bottlenecks and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and increase productivity.
Quality Control: Ensure that products meet industry standards (ISO, ASTM, etc.) and implement quality control measures.
Equipment & Automation: Work with CNC machines, furnaces, casting, rolling, and other production equipment to enhance performance.
Cost Reduction: Analyze costs and propose improvements to reduce expenses while maintaining quality.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure workplace safety and compliance with industry regulations.
Collaboration: Work closely with design, R&D, and production teams to refine manufacturing techniques.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve production issues quickly to minimize downtime.
New Product Introduction: Assist in scaling up new steel and alloy products from prototype to mass production.

Qualifications & Skills:

✅ Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or a related field .
✅ Experience in steel, alloys, or metal fabrication industry preferred.
✅ Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement techniques .
✅ Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and manufacturing simulation tools .
✅ Familiarity with CNC machining, heat treatment, and metal forming processes .
✅ Hands-on experience with automation, PLCs, and robotics is a plus.
✅ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
✅ Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
