This unique scaling need and engineering of state-of-the-art products make AGI a place of constant evolution and innovation across product, design and engineering in the ever-growing digital and print media industry landscape.Publish Story is an enterprise publishing platform used by newsrooms and content teams to go live fast with AI‑assisted authoring, drag‑and‑drop page building, inbuilt digital asset management, analytics, and secure, role‑based operations. Your job is to turn complex features into clear, task‑focused guidance that helps editors, developers, and administrators succeed on day one.What you’ll document:You’ll own end‑to‑end documentation for major modules and workflows, including:- Authoring (AI‑powered headlines/summaries/metadata, multilingual editing, live previews, scheduling/automation, SEO tools). - Page Builder (no‑code, drag‑and‑drop layouts; themes; widgets/menus; multi‑site & localization). - Asset Management (DAM) and Syndication (AI tagging, fast search, e‑paper integration, two‑way wire feed syndication/export). - Access Management (granular roles/permissions, SSO, MFA, audit logs). - Content Insights (real‑time dashboards, spike/alert automation, headline A/B testing, engagement tracking). - Monetization (self‑serve ad management, subscription/paywall setup). - You’ll also cover content types the platform supports (e.g., article, photostory, listicle, Web Story, live blog) and related publishing surfaces (AMP, mobile web, etc.).Responsibilities:- Plan & own the docs roadmap for Publish Story modules and cross‑module workflows (editorial → page build → publish → measure). - Write & maintain user guides, quickstarts, How‑Tos, FAQs, conceptual overviews, and “what’s new”/release notes. - Develop technical admin docs for roles/permissions, SSO/MFA setup, security/audit features, and multi‑site governance. - Create integration guides for syndication/wire feeds and content exports (XML/RSS/JSON) and for ad/monetization integrations. - Document AI‑assisted features (headlines, summaries, metadata, translations; AI image suggestions) with safety notes and best practices. - Capture analytics workflows (dashboards, headline tests, alerts) with tasks, examples, and “interpret the metric” notes. - Produce API‑adjacent content (overview topics, request/response examples, Postman collections) for customers on plans with API support. - Partner closely with PM, design, and engineering to spec documentation requirements during discovery; validate steps in staging; and ship docs alongside features. - Create learn‑by‑watching assets—short videos, annotated screenshots, and diagrams—for high‑impact tasks (e.g., building a homepage, setting a paywall).Required qualifications:- 3+ years as a technical writer or product writer for B2B SaaS or CMS platforms (publishing/newsroom tools a strong plus). - Proven ability to explain complex UIs (drag‑and‑drop builders, role/permission models) and data/analytics workflows. - Portfolio with task‑based guides and at least one of: admin/security setup, integration/syndication, or analytics documentation. - Strong command of SEO‑aware documentation and structured content (schemas, sitemaps, AMP/Web Stories context helpful). - Comfortable working docs‑as‑code (Markdown/MDX, Git); basic GitHub/GitLab workflows. - Excellent English writing and editing; ability to tailor content for editors, developers, and business stakeholders.Nice to have:- Familiarity with Postman/OpenAPI and writing sample requests/flows. - Background in newsroom operations or digital publishing (live blogs, listicles, photo stories, Web Stories). - Working knowledge of SSO/MFA concepts and enterprise compliance writing. - Comfort creating microcopy and in‑product help (tooltips, empty‑state guidance).Note - This is a 3-month contractual role.
