Senior Delivery Manager - AI Projects - IMMEDIATE JOINER @ Chennai

Overview

The Senior Delivery Manager for AI projects is a key role that oversees the successful delivery of AI-driven initiatives from inception to deployment. This position requires a deep understanding of AI technologies and their applications, as well as strong project management and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including defining project scope, milestones, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • AI Strategy Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business challenges and develop AI-driven solutions. Lead the development of AI strategies and business cases, including ROI analysis and readiness assessments.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AI engineering, data science, and business stakeholders, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Client Management: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, managing their expectations and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management and Quality Assurance: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects adhere to quality standards and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and efficiency.
  • Market Analysis and Research: Conduct market research to stay updated on the latest AI trends and technologies, ensuring that solutions are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate project success, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in managing AI or technology projects, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, data science, and machine learning.
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Jira.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Support business development activities by analyzing customer needs, developing proposals, and assisting in pricing strategies.
  • Knowledge Development: Stay updated with the latest AI trends by participating in workshops, reviewing publications, and engaging in professional networks.
