Job Description:

As an Oracle PL SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing applications using Oracle databases. You will be responsible for writing complex SQL queries, optimizing database performance, and maintaining data security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Writing and optimizing PL/SQL statements for data manipulation and retrieval.
  • Developing stored procedures, packages, and functions in PL/SQL.
  • Collaborating with other developers and project managers to enhance database functionalities.
  • Conducting performance tuning of PL/SQL queries and optimizing database performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with database best practices and standards.

Primary Skills

We are looking for mid-level (08-10 years) software engineer with good hands-on experience in implementing Oracle PL/SQL code. We are looking for a person with below skills

  • Strong SQL and Oracle PL/SQL knowledge
  • Able to understand and perform query tuning
  • Basis bash commands and scripting
  • Well versed with Gitlab
  • Knowledge of Autosys scheduling is desirable
  • Produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent and well-performing.
  • Design, plan and deliver solutions independently as well as with a team in a large-scale enterprise environment
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with our global stakeholders

Secondary skills

  • Familiarity with other cloud platform Azure.
  • Self-learner. Curious and willing to learn. Attitude is key.
  • Can manage demanding high pressure fast paced env
  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus
  • Adaptable, able to work across teams and functions over the Globe
  • Comfortable with 3 days/ week working from Office (WFO).
  • Excellent communication and co-ordination skills required.
  • Able to work with various stakeholders to complete deliverables.
