Job Description:Must Have- GCP Data Engineer with Banking/ Finance Institutions ExperienceAbout the Role We are seeking experiencedGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) Engineersto join our team in building a scalable and robustModel Monitoring Framework . This solution will integrate data from diverse sources includingExcel files ,SAS datasets , andGCP-native services , with the target architecture fully hosted onGoogle Cloud Platform . Key Responsibilities Design and develop end-to-endETL pipelinesto ingest, transform, and load data from on-premises SAS systems, Excel files, and GCP sources. Build scalable and securedata ingestion frameworksusing GCP services such asCloud Storage ,BigQuery ,Cloud Functions , andDataflow . Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to enablemodel monitoring , including drift detection, performance tracking, and alerting. Implementdata validation ,quality checks , andaudit trailsacross the pipeline. Optimize pipeline performance and cost using GCP-native tools and best practices. Automate workflows usingCloud Composer (Airflow)orCloud Scheduler . Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.Required Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of experience incloud engineering , with at least 5 years onGCP and Banking . Strong proficiency inPython ,SQL , anddata engineering frameworks . Hands-on experience withBigQuery ,Cloud Storage ,Pub/Sub ,Dataflow , andCloud Functions . Experience integrating withSASand handlingExcel-based data ingestion . Familiarity withmodel monitoring conceptsand ML lifecycle management. Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelines ,Terraform , orDeployment Manageris a plus. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
