Position: Packaging Head

Job Overview:

- Ginger Partners is excited to present an opportunity for a seasoned Packaging Head at a dynamic company specializing in beauty, personal care, and nutraceutical products.

- This pivotal role involves leading the packaging operations and strategic initiatives to optimize quality, cost, and sustainability.

Key Strategy & Development:

- Devise and implement packaging strategies for diverse product categories, ensuring alignment with industry standards and market needs.

- Innovate sustainable and cost-effective packaging solutions.

Material Sourcing & Vendor Management:

- Source high-quality packaging materials and manage vendor relationships.

- Negotiate contracts to achieve the best terms of quality and cost.

Quality Control & Compliance:

- Oversee compliance with FSSAI, FDA, BIS, and other international regulatory requirements.

- Partner with QA teams for packaging testing and adherence to safety standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

- Collaborate with R&D, production, and logistics departments to coordinate new product launches and optimize packaging designs for operational effectiveness.

Process Improvement & Cost Optimization:

- Lead cost-reduction strategies by enhancing materials and processes.

- Implement automation and lean practices to improve efficiency and Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Technology, Engineering, or related field.

- Minimum 8 years of experience in a packaging role within the FMCG, personal care, home care, or nutraceutical sectors.

- Deep knowledge of packaging materials, design, and printing technologies.

- Proven track record in sourcing, vendor management, and cost management.

- Strong understanding of sustainable packaging practices and global compliance standards.

- Exceptional project management and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Prior experience with major international retailers like Walmart.

- Hands-on experience with eco-friendly and innovative packaging solutions.
