PRT Maths Teacher

• Reporting To: Academic Coordinator / Principal

• Teach Mathematics to Grades VIX as per CBSE/ICSE curriculum.
• Develop and deliver engaging, concept-based lesson plans and assessments.
• Use various teaching methods, technology, and activities to make math interactive.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor student performance through tests and assignments.
• Prepare students for internal exams, Olympiads, and board assessments .
• Maintain classroom discipline, attendance records, and academic reports .
• Collaborate with peers for cross-subject projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Attend staff meetings, training programs, and parent-teacher interactions .
• Foster an environment that supports inquiry, creativity, and logical reasoning .

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Mathematics or related field.
• B.Ed. (Mandatory)
• Minimum 13 years of teaching experience in middle or secondary school.
• Good command of spoken and written English .
• Comfortable with digital teaching tools / smart boards .

• Strong subject knowledge in Algebra, Geometry, Arithmetic, and Statistics.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to make abstract math concepts clear and practical.
• Passion for teaching and inspiring a love for mathematics in students.
• Organized, punctual, and committed to school responsibilities.

• Experience in CBSE or ICSE curriculum.
• Exposure to math enrichment programs (Olympiad, NTSE, etc.).
• Willingness to take part in co-curricular and academic development activities.
