Position: Analog Design Engineer


Job function includes but is not limited to:


• Work on topology and architecture definition, design, simulation, verification, and documentation of various analog / mixed-signal modules (such as buck converter modules, analog-to-digital converters, digital-to-analog converters, phase-locked- loops, etc.) used in power management chips.

• Actively involved in the entire design cycle including specification and architecture definition, circuit design, simulation, layout support, bench / ATE evaluation, debugging and design support for mass production.

• Mentor and assist the junior members of the team with their day-to-day design and debug tasks.

• Guide layout designers for sensitive custom layouts.

• Be hands-on in post-silicon debugging, lab testing, characterization, and troubleshooting.

• Explore alternative design techniques to meet the chip specifications while minimizing device costs with ample opportunities to innovate during the design cycle that can lead to patentable ideas.

• Will be working with a small, nifty, focused, world-class design team in a creative role.


REQUIREMENTS


• Master’s degree in analog IC design from premier institutes with 4+ years of analog, mixed-signal, or RFIC design experience.

• Must be proficient with the Cadence Virtuoso environment.

• Knowledge of behavioral modeling, System Verilog, Verilog-AMS, and Matlab programming.

• Knowledge of mixed-mode simulation and SOC integration.
