An experienced PeopleSoft Techno Functional Consultant to provide functional and technical support for PeopleSoft Financial System. This role requires in-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft applications including process flow of various modules (like T&E, Projects, Contracts, Billing, Receivables, Payables, Fixed Assets and General Ledger), troubleshooting, code fixing, support and maintenance. The candidate will work with the team to resolve system issues, processes failures and improvement, and support end-users. The candidate must be open to work in shifts on a rotational basis during EU and US time zone.


Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Candidate must have thorough understanding of the process flow of either of P2P or O2C life cycle. Good knowledge of Advanced GL is desirable. Should be able to provide expert troubleshooting for technical problems.
  • Responsible to resolve functional and technical issues related to PeopleSoft Financial Applications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with the scheduled jobs and processes.
  • Candidate should be able to handle support incidents and work with end user based on the severity.
  • Candidate should be able to work with hosting (PS Admin and DBA) team for any server related issues.
  • Candidate should have good technical knowledge on People Tools like Application Engine, Component Interface, XMLP, People Code and reporting knowledge on nVision and PS Query.
  • Debug and develop SQRs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, AWE and Component Interfaces, IB along with working experience on data conversion programs.
  • Must have knowledge of PeopleSoft AWE & Security.
  • Expertise in third party integrations with PS.
  • Interacts directly with the business users and clients’ counterparts.
  • Candidate must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Coordinate with business users, IT teams, functional and technical consultants to delivery service.
  • Must be opened to work extended hours to take up client calls, interacting with onshore / Onsight counterpart. Candidate must be open to work in shifts in the EU and US time zone on rotational basis.
  • Hands-on experience in using FTP’s is desirable.
