Position Title: BIM/Revit Manager


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement BIM standards, protocols, and workflows to streamline project delivery and ensure consistency across projects.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project teams in the use of Revit software and BIM methodologies.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to define BIM requirements and project-specific modeling standards.
  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and management of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, from conceptual design through construction and facilities management.
  • Conduct regular model reviews to ensure compliance with established standards, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Coordinate clash detection and resolution efforts to identify and resolve conflicts among building systems and components.
  • Develop and deliver training programs and workshops to educate staff on BIM best practices, Revit software updates, and new technologies.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to BIM and Revit.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support and troubleshooting related to BIM software and workflows.
  • Collaborate with IT staff to ensure proper installation, configuration, and maintenance of BIM software and related hardware.
  • Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and clients to exchange BIM data and coordinate project deliverables.
  • Assist in the development of project proposals, BIM execution plans, and project-specific BIM requirements.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management, preferably in an architecture/engineering firm.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other BIM software applications.
  • Strong understanding of BIM concepts, methodologies, and standards (e.g., LOD, COBie, IFC).
  • Experience developing and implementing BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Certifications such as Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or BIM Specialist/Manager certifications are a plus.
