Description :We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with strong expertise in COBOL, DB2, JCL, and IMS DB/DC. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in mainframe development and testing, with the ability to handle onsite-offshore coordination and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.Key Responsibilities :- Develop and test mainframe applications with a focus on IMS DB/DC.- Write, review, and execute test scenarios and test cases based on business requirements.- Perform test data identification and data mining within databases.- Collaborate effectively with onsite and offshore teams to ensure smooth project execution.- Participate in customer meetings as required, providing updates and clarifications.- Communicate clearly with stakeholders to ensure timely deliverables and customer satisfaction.- Support troubleshooting and issue resolution related to mainframe applications.Required Skills & Experience : - Minimum 7+ years in Mainframe development and testing.- Strong hands-on experience in COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS DB/DC.- High proficiency in IMS DB/DC and strong knowledge of SQL queries.- Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.- Ability to translate business requirements into detailed test cases and solutions.- Proven expertise in test scenario design, execution, and test data management.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.- Automotive domain experience is a plus.
