Position Overview :

As a DevOps Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our development and operational systems. You will provide 24/7 support to ensure the continuous availability and performance of our infrastructure and applications. Your expertise will help troubleshoot issues, deploy updates, and enhance system reliability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- 24/7 Support : Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across our infrastructure and applications, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

- Incident Management : Quickly respond to and manage incidents, providing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

- System Monitoring : Utilize monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact operations.

- Deployment & Automation : Assist in deploying new features, updates, and patches. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operations.

- Collaboration : Work closely with development, QA, and IT teams to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.

- Documentation : Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for support procedures, incident resolution, and system configurations.

- Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving system performance, reliability, and support processes, and implement best practices.

- Security : Ensure that security best practices are followed and help in mitigating security risks.

Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a DevOps or similar role with a strong background in system administration, automation, and support.

- Technical Skills : Proficiency with tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.

- Problem-Solving : Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues quickly.

- Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24/7 support environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer, or Kubernetes Administrator.

- Experience with CI/CD Pipelines: Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.

- Scripting: Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
