About the Opportunity :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our growing team. In this full-time, on-site role, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing our web applications.

You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and performant PHP web applications.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to best practices (e.g., PSR standards).


- Utilize various PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) to accelerate development and ensure code reusability (a plus).

- Develop and implement APIs to facilitate communication with other systems and applications.

- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex web application issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP, web development frameworks, and security best practices.

- Contribute to the overall codebase architecture and design.

- Mentor junior developers and share your knowledge (a plus).

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in professional PHP development.

- In-depth knowledge of PHP syntax, object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, and web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

- Experience with a popular PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) is a strong plus.

- Experience working with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing efficient SQL queries.

- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaboration tools.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

- Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
