Doctoral Student

We are delighted to announce the opening of several doctor of philosophy (Ph.D.) positions within the Functional Materials and Energy Devices (FMED) Research Laboratory, affiliated with the Department of Physics and Nanotechnology at SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST), Kattankulathur, Chengalpattu.

         The FMED Laboratory is dedicated to cutting-edge research in the field of functional materials and their applications in energy and environmental monitoring applications which can directly impact social problems. As a doctoral candidate in our laboratory, you will have the opportunity to work alongside leading researchers and contribute to groundbreaking discoveries in materials science and energy technology.

Key research areas within the FMED Laboratory include but are not limited to thermoelectric systems, solar cells, supercapacitors, hydrogen production, and gas sensing.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals with a strong background in physics, materials science, nanotechnology, or related fields. Candidates with a passion for research, excellent academic credentials, and a desire to make significant contributions to the field are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Masters in Physics/Chemistry or M.Tech Nanotechnology with First class.
